From 6:30 to 8:00 the balcony area of The Fillmore was filled with over 100 Tea Leaf Green and Moonalice fans who enjoyed mingling with the performers and connecting with each other, while also generously supporting the Rex Foundation.  Following the reception, the great music of the performers filled the hall, along with the positive energy and good will generated by all the participants.

This event brings to life the Rex Musical Caravan, where the musical community collaborates to support the Rex Foundation's mission, furthering what the Grateful Dead started 25 years ago.  We thank everyone for their support – the musicians, the fans, their managers and production crew, Bill Graham Presents and all the staff at The Fillmore.

2008 marks the Rex Foundation’s 25^th Anniversary. These Rex Musical Caravan shows are a great way to further a tradition of grassroots giving and demonstrate the power of community, service and the arts.
