The Rex grant specifically supports the September 2014 premiere of the Stagebridge Senior Theatre original musical FSM, which will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Free Speech Movement at UC Berkeley. The show is set in both past and present, and performed by a mixed cast of Stagebridge company members and young Equity (professional/union) actors. It will premiere in September 2014 at Brava in San Francisco and the Thrust Stage at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
