The Rex Foundation and The Women’s Foundation collaborate to bring you a special
evening with Frances Moore Lappé and Anna Blythe Lappé. The Lappés will discuss
their work and recent book Hope's Edge, a chronicle of their journey across five continents
documenting examples of successful efforts to provide sustainable resources,
protect indigenous communities and combat hunger.
Published in February 2002, Hope's Edge is an update to the 1971
revolutionary bestseller, Diet for a Small Planet by Frances Moore Lappé.
The program will include:

Proceeds will insure the attendance of at least 50 youth on October 22nd
and funding of programs that address sustainability.
