A VERY JERRY EVENING
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2009, 9:00 PM
2131 East 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220
The Rex Foundation would like to thank Dave Bagdade and EMAS Productions for putting together a special musical evening in honor of Jerry Garcia as a fundraiser to support the Rex Foundation.
August 1, 2009, marks the 67th anniversary of the birth of Jerry Garcia, founder of the Grateful Dead. To commemorate the event, some of Indianapolis’ most respected musicians will come together for a special benefit concert.
EMAS Productions presents A Very Jerry Evening, a tribute to the Grateful Dead, at Birdy’s on Saturday, August 1. The concert will feature the Spud Puppies in their first live performance in more than a year, along with The Cousin Brothers, The Mysteries Bloom and Diamond Hill Station. Also appearing will be Cliff Snyder, Greg Ziesemer, Gary Wasson and Dave Bagdade. Each of these acts are known for their songwriting talents, but on this night, they will be performing Grateful Dead songs alongside their original music.
ALL proceeds from A Very Jerry Evening, including the $10.00 cover charge and money raised through a silent auction, a 50-50 and door prizes, will be donated to the Rex Foundation.
