Quest for Community in Haiti

Canadian students went to Haiti to study community, and were inspired by their experiences with the earthquake-stricken people.

The Nelson (B.C.) Daily News interviews the Canadian students from the Quest for Community program (which evolved from Project Help Mexico, a Rex grantee) who went to Haiti to help the local people dig a well and build a goat farm, and also to learn more about community.

The earthquake struck almost immediately after they arrived, changing everything–and presenting them with many opportunities to observe community in action, and join in.

The article interviews several students about their life-changing experiences.
