Coming Up: Rex Jam at All Good, July 16

Preston High School percussion section leader Sarah Dunaway with the new marching cymbals purchased with part of the funds from last year's Rex Jam.

Last year’s fourth Rex Jam at the All Good Festival was a rousing success, raising $1,460.26 to support the musical instruments progam of Preston High School, located in the same West Virginia county as the festival. Thanks to these funds, the school was able to buy four sets of marching cymbals and send seven students to the Tri-State Honor Band.

So this year, on Saturday, July 16, from 6:15 to 6:55 p.m., Matt Butler once again leads the Everyone Orchestra and the festival audience in the Rex Jam, in hopes that once again they’ll be generous and share their love of music with the students of Preston High School.

Say Deborah Westbrook and Shauna Bloom of the school’s music program, “Thank you for your generous donations to our program. It is through generous donations that we are able to provide opportunities for our students.”
