Adolph Sutro: Rex supporter. Who knew? Indeed, not content with the Baths and the Tower, the noted 19th Century magnate lends his name to an evening of music and fun in San Francisco, raising money for good causes!

A Celebration of Sutro at the Great American Music Hall benefits Rex and the Blue Bear School of Music.

Clearly destined to be another beloved SF tradition, A Celebration of Sutro comes to the Great American Music Hall in SF, celebrating the legacy of one of the city’s colorful figures and raising funds for Rex and Blue Bear School of Music. Tracorum with Jazz Mafia Horns headline, and bands from Blue Bear also take the stage and show their stuff.

It’s an all-ages (age 6 and up) extravaganza, and you’re heartily encouraged to come in costume. Doors open at 7 p.m.; tickets are $17 in advance, $22 at the door.
