Chicago Cubs: First Grateful Dead Night at Wrigley Field
And now, a word from the Chicago Cubs!
Calling all Deadheads! On Monday, August 27, the Cubs are hosting the first Grateful Dead Night at Wrigley Field. Fans can join the celebration of the iconic rock band by purchasing specially priced tickets to see the Cubs take on the Mets. In addition to a ticket to the August 27 game, fans who purchase a Grateful Dead Night ticket through this special offer will receive a Cubs and Grateful Dead cap. A portion of net proceeds from Grateful Dead Night will be donated to the Rex Foundation, the band’s official nonprofit charitable organization.
Ticket holders also are invited to stop by Gallagher Way, the open-air destination located adjacent to the ballpark on Clark Street, to enjoy a pregame concert by Mr. Blotto! From 5-6:45 p.m., early arriving fans can listen to the Chicago jam band as they perform an acoustic set covering all your favorite Grateful Dead songs and more.
