Cosmic! Laserium® on the Rex Musical Caravan November 1

Such a night! We’re delighted to report on an upcoming event at the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, CA, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the legendary Laserium® light show as it makes a long-awaited return to the Bay Area. Celebrate music, light, and science, while enjoying tasty hors d’oeuvres, wine, and (weather permitting) stargazing through the observatory’s telescope.

Proceeds from the gala at Chabot Space & Science Center benefit Rex.

We’re also delighted to report that proceeds from this gala will benefit Rex. Our own board members Trixie Garcia and Rosalie Howarth are among the distinguished Honorary Ambassadors of Light for the event.

Rosalie says: “The laser light shows we remember from  the ’70s and ’80s resonate with a whole new generation that has discovered the power of music combined with visuals, through their constant exposure to videos online. Plus there’s a reverence for the ‘cosmic era’ and the music of the ground-breaking classic rockers like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and of course the Beatles. This is a show you can drag the teens to! And I’m proud to be aligned with Chabot’s efforts to share a love of science and fun with Bay Area families.”

Tickets for this event will sell out fast. Get more details here. Enjoy this special evening, and thank you for supporting Rex!
