Friends of Outlet Creek
Friends of Outlet Creek (FOC) was founded in 2011 to protect Outlet Creek, a main tributary of the federally designated Wild & Scenic Eel River in Mendocino County. FOC is an all-volunteer environmental advocacy group with a steering committee of five people. FOC is working to protect and restore Outlet Creek through advocacy, science and outreach. The group informs the public about upcoming key decisions, permits and hearings. Then they gather science and community support, campaign and take legal action as necessary.
