The California Historical Radio Society (CHRS), incorporated in 1974, dedicates itself to the research, preservation, and presentation  of radio equipment, and the history of radio broadcasting and the voices and talents of great radio communicators. Its current programs include: The Bay Area Radio Museum; The Bay Area Radio Museum Online; and The Society of Wireless Pioneers, among others.
