Even more great news about our return to the Fillmore on December 3: We’re delighted to announce a special guest appearance by the Trombone Shorty Academy from New Orleans!

The Trombone Shorty Academy is a project of this year’s Ralph J. Gleason Award recipient Trombone Shorty Foundation, whose mission is to inspire the next generation of talented youth through music education, instruction, mentorship, and performance.

By honoring the New Orleans tradition of “playing it forward‚” from the earliest jazz legends onward, the foundation seeks to preserve and perpetuate the city’s musical heritage since 2012.

Join us at the Fillmore December 3 to honor their work and see the results of your generosity.
