EQUAL MEANS EQUAL (EME) is a national movement dedicated to achieving full constitutional equality for women and girls in the United States. Through legal advocacy, public education, storytelling, and coalition-building, EME works to ensure that the promise of equal rights is fully realized in law and in practice. We believe that women are human beings entitled to full constitutional equality, and that democracy is strengthened when the rights and voices of all people are equally protected.
