We have seen a growing number of bands and individuals contact us to ask how they can help Rex raise funds. There are many ways to contribute, from hosting a dedicated show to donating a portion of proceeds to Rex or adding a dollar amount per ticket at the time of purchase. We can also provide a QR code for your event to help raise funds. We would like to know when these events will take place so we can help promote them in our newsletter and on social media. Rex has been fortunate to be included in the planned giving of individuals who have chosen to include Rex in their estate planning. The process requires consultation with your attorney or financial advisor. However, once the plan is in place, implementation with Rex is very straightforward. We are available to answer any questions you or your advisors may have.

It is also advisable to consult your attorney or financial advisor before donating from your retirement account. What distinguishes this approach from legacy gifting is that it can be done during your lifetime. A qualified charitable distribution is available to people aged 70 ½ and allows any amount up to $111,000 to be donated from their IRA per year directly to charity, avoiding income tax on the distribution.
