The ART LAB’S purpose is to offer Staten Island the best possible and most professional independent school of fine and applied art, and to bring knowledge and appreciation of artistic excellence to the metropolitan community through regular classes, exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops and lectures.
This year marks Art Lab’s 50th year of continued fulfillment of its mission by offering mainstays of its fine and applied art school for ages 3, through adult, while maintaining gallery space, hosting exhibits, special programming, and talks. Art Lab also offers discounted children’s art camp, the Summer Studio Scholarship Program, scholarships, and other free programs, while also working and engaging with schools and other organizations, and participating in multiple, public events, providing free visual art services to the community.
